No time to pick up your order? Have it delivered!

Don’t have time to come and shop in person? You can also choose to have your order delivered or prepared for collection.

Delivery

If you choose delivery, simply place an order in our webshop. You will automatically see the net product prices that apply to your customer account. These prices are the same as the prices you pay in our wholesale store. After completing your order, you can select the ‘delivery’ option in your shopping cart. If you have authorised payment by direct debit, the goods will be shipped immediately after you place your order. If you choose another payment method, we will pick and ship your order once payment has been received.

Van der Meer ships orders by parcel service or pallet delivery. You can choose which carrier you would like to use. The rates for each carrier can be found in the table below. If no carrier is selected, we will use PostNL by default.

Orders placed before 6:00 PM on working days will be delivered the next day. Pallet orders are an exception and must be placed before 11:00 AM for delivery the following day. If you pay by pro forma invoice, payment must also be received before 6:00 PM/11:00 AM.

The average delivery time within the Netherlands is 1 working day.
For Belgium and Germany, the average delivery time is 1–2 working days.

Shipping costs

The costs of shipping an order consist of transportation costs and fulfilment costs. Transportation costs cover the shipment of the parcel by the carrier to its destination. Fulfilment costs cover picking, packing and packaging materials. These costs are calculated separately and are listed separately on the invoice.

Shipping costs are determined based on the volume and/or weight of the order. This determines how many parcels are required to ship the order. The actual weight of the complete order is therefore not the only factor; the dimensions and volume of the products also play a role.

Most parcels are shipped with PostNL, but in some cases DPD may be used. The carrier is selected based on the volumetric weight of the order. This allows us to use the most efficient and cost-effective shipping method.

Fulfilment costs

Fulfilment costs apply to all orders shipped as parcels. These costs are calculated per parcel, not per order. As a result, the total fulfilment costs may vary, for example when an order is divided into multiple parcels due to the number, size or weight of the products.

In addition to the product price, transportation costs and fulfilment costs, there are no additional charges for dropshipping.

Carriage paid order amount

We do not have a carriage paid order amount. All prices are ex warehouse and shipping costs are charged per parcel.

Track & Trace

You will receive a confirmation e-mail with a Track & Trace code for every order we ship. This allows you to track the parcel. If you have chosen dropshipping, you are responsible for forwarding this code to your customer.

Collection

Do you have time to collect your order but not to gather all the products yourself? We can help with that too. After placing your order, you can select ‘collection’. We will then prepare your order so you can collect it yourself. Orders placed before 11:00 AM can be collected the following day. We charge €5.00 for preparing the order.
